The control of the presence of SARS-CoV-2 on surfaces is an effective tool for pollution control in industrial, commercial and recreational environments, as well as to assess the effectiveness of measures taken to limit the spread of pollution. To this end, AINIA makes SARS-CoV-2 detection tests available to its customers on surfaces and water. In addition, the following studies are carried out: 1. Evaluation tests of the antibacterial capacity of the materials using the protocols of the corresponding standards.2. Tests for the evaluation of the antibacterial activity of paints incorporating in their composition photocatalytic active substances or agents.3. Testing of antiviral activity of materials (ISO 21702:2019), the trial is performed against two viruses: Influenza A (H3N2) (A/Hong Kong/8/68 H3N2) and Feline Calicivirus. In addition, and based on the experience of ainia, custom experimental trials with subrogated SARS-CoV2 viruses can be designed so that they can be evaluated among others: antiviral effectiveness of materials developed against CoVID19, survival, permanence and viability of the virus in these materials and efficacy of disinfection (UV-C technique, ozone, ionization, etc.
