AINIA is the headquarters of the Spanish Regional Section of EHEDG (European Hygienic and Engineering Design Group) and has extensive experience in the hygienic design of facilities and equipment.

Regarding processes automation, AINIA has extensive knowledge in the development of technologies, such as sensors or advanced vision systems, which allow the online and non-destructive control of quality and food safety parameters. It also has processing equipment that allows the optimization of production and improvement of existing products.

Technologies based on microencapsulation allow the development of foods with advanced properties, such as functional foods, aimed at improving the safety and health of consumers.

From a sustainable perspective, AINIA has technological developments aimed at taking profit from food industry by-products and technologies for an efficient water management.
