The DS series vibrating drainer is made up of a rigid monoblock frame stiffened by crossbars and is operated by two electric motor-vibrators. The operating system is similar to that used in vibrating conveyors, the ultimate purpose of the drainers being the separation of solid materials from liquids. To achieve this goal, the back and bottom of the drainers are equipped with a high-performance, wear-resistant polyurethane grid with a large usable surface and a trapezoidal section to prevent clogging. The bottom of the grid is positioned at an upward angle towards the discharge, thus preventing the water from exiting together with the solid material. The polyurethane grid can be positioned either transversely or longitudinally, depending on both the size of the drainer and the fixing system used. In the mixture that reaches the drainer, most of the liquid passes quickly through the grids located at the back of the machine. At the same time, thanks to the vibration, the liquid drains by gravity inside the mixture, downwards, and comes out through the grids located at the bottom.
