The V-type mixer produces a homogeneous mixture of solids. The mixing process is a common operation in manufacturing for the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, detergent, dye, fertilizer, and plastics industries.
Some examples are pharmaceutical products, confectionery flour, fish meal, refined or white flour, wholemeal flour, breading flour, dextrins, enzymes, coffee, cocoa, milk powder, chocolate, gelatin, flan and pudding powder, infant food, custard powder, starches, seeds, pigments, colorants, cosmetics, powdered or granulated plastics, fiberglass, etc.
Operating principle
The equipment consists of two cylinders joined in an 80° V-shape. At the end of each cylinder, there is a manually opening hatch that allows access to the inside. The lower part of the junction between the two cylinders features the discharge opening, which features a butterfly valve with a manual or automatic actuator for product discharge. The two benches located on the sides house the gear motor and the rolling system for the mixing body.
The solid is introduced through the loading mouth. The mixing capacity is 50%, meaning that with each revolution of the mixer, the product in both cylinders is transferred to the common chamber, and so on constantly. The speed is not high, making it useful for products that need to be kept cold.
The mixture is discharged by means of a hermetically sealed butterfly valve with manual or automatic opening.
The equipment has a protective railing with an electrical safety device to prevent operator access while it is in operation. If the equipment is accessed, it will cease operation for safety reasons.

The series has 6 models with a total capacity of 50 to 4200 liters, with a useful capacity of 50% of the total.
Mixing time varies from 3 to 15 minutes depending on the mix.
It has a protective railing according to CE safety standards with electrical safety.
This equipment is manufactured in AISI 316 (EN 14404) quality for all parts in contact with the product and AISI 304 (EN 14301) for the benches and the rest. The finish is polished inside and out. Easy to clean both manually and by the automatic CIP system due to its polished surface and the absence of
angles.
