The TES-01 V2 truck grounding system ensures a safe connection to vehicle ground during loading and unloading of non-conductive liquids or powders, in which electrostatic charges can be generated.
By connecting the earth clamp to the truck's grounding point, the TES-01 V2 detects whether a conductive environment has formed by measuring the electrical resistance of the clamp to the control unit. If the electrical resistance is sufficiently low, the TES-01 V2 will discharge the electrostatic charge from the truck to the ground. This prevents sparks. The TES-01 V2 then checks the electrical capacity at the height of the clamp. Only if the capacity corresponds to that of a truck will the green status light illuminate and the charging and discharging process be unblocked. If the connection between the clamp and the control unit is interrupted, the red status light illuminates and charging and discharging is stopped via an interlock relay.
