The vibrating disc mill is used for rapid grinding of minerals, organic and ceramic materials, herbs and spices, various brittle metal alloys, etc. for final analysis. Depending on the size of the container and the type of material selected, the feed size should not exceed 5 to 15 mm. Depending on the product, the final fineness that can be obtained with the mill is up to <40 µm for dry grinding and <1 µm for wet grinding. Depending on the container size, sample quantities of up to 250 cm³ can be processed.
