ERALKI SIM-SIML series vibrating screens of the multi-screen type are used for the separation and classification of bulk products by size, following the principle of probabilistic screening. From a construction point of view, they consist of a rigid monoblock frame stiffened by crossbeams and are driven by two electric motor-vibrators. The equipment is normally installed supported either on springs or on rubber anti-vibration pads, and can even be installed on a special additional vibration-insulating frame. The manufacturing range consists of two types of screens, the SIM series with a mesh length of 1.300 mm and the SIML series with a mesh length of 2.400 mm. In both cases, 2 to 6 screening floors can be manufactured. The mesh tensioning system is longitudinal, using special encapsulated tensioners, placed at the rear of the screen, whose advantage is that they keep the mesh tension constant. The compact design of this type of sieve makes assembly easier and reduces the support structure compared to a conventional sieve, as it is smaller and lighter.
