
Maxicarbo Activated Carbon Filter
The activated carbon filter is a filtration system that uses the contact of air with activated carbon for the retention of Volatile Organic Compounds. It is an absorbent filter that guarantees the quality of the air in the work environment and the reduction of odors generated by VOCs.
Strengths
The MAXI CARBO activated carbon filter is a type of activated carbon absorber filter, ideal for the retention of effluents with high concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). The filter unit is characterized by a fully welded steel structure with 1 or 2 vertical beds of activated carbon. The carbon is loaded at the top through a door, while the spent carbon is removed at the bottom by means of a guillotine door. The particular geometric shape makes it possible to speed up and simplify the loading and unloading operations of the activated carbon.
Operation
The MAXI CARBO filter is equipped with one or two vertical carbon beds inside the rhombus structure, crossed by the gas flow which, thanks to the appropriate contact time with the active carbons, releases the VOCs adsorbed by carbon. The filter is not equipped with pre-filtration, therefore any solid particles present in the air must be previously retained by other filtering systems.
