The ViGIFLAP is an explosion isolation valve designed to prevent over-pressure flame caused by an explosion (from dust collectors, filters, cyclones…) from propagating in the piping system.
The valve is held open by a lever arm. It can be used at both the inlet and outlet of the filter. This makes it possible to isolate the filter from explosion or overpressure.
In the event of an explosion, the valve closes and remains blocked, preventing the flame from spreading.
The flap is unlocked manually.
