The ExPinch active explosion isolation system is capable of isolating a deflagration inside a device or vessel. This system requires continuous monitoring of static and/or dynamic pressure sensors that send a signal to the line controller, activating a solenoid valve that releases compressed air from a tank and immediately closing the internal rubber sleeve.
In the event of an explosion, the pressure or flame detector activates the closing of the pinch throttle valve within milliseconds by activating the solenoid valve, preventing the explosion from spreading to the rest of the installation.
