The TamaAernova Iberica electrostatic filter has tungsten cables fed at 10kV in direct current suspended between electrodes connected to the floor, thanks to which the contaminant particles contained in the gas flow pass through the ionizing section and are charged with unipolar electricity. The filter has an electrical panel for controlling the electrostatic part and, in the case of models with a fan, also for managing the fan operation/stop of the filtration unit.
Strengths
A very important feature of the AR filter is its modularity; the smallest module has a filtration capacity of almost 2.000 m3/h and, by connecting the modules in an appropriate manner, multiple air flows can be achieved, up to a maximum of 48.000 m3/h. Thanks to its modularity, the AR electrostatic filter can be connected to different filter elements, for example bag filters, droplet separators, activated carbon filters.
Operating principle
TamaAernova Iberica's electrostatic filter has tungsten wires supplied with 10kV DC suspended between electrodes connected to the ground, thanks to which the polluting particles contained in the gas flow pass through the ionizing section and are charged with unipolar electricity. In the collection section, made up of pure aluminum plates, supplied with 5kV DC and alternating with plates connected to the ground, the particles are rejected by the plates supplied in the direction of the plates connected to the ground. These plates have the task of "catching" the polluting particles that are in the flow. The particles retained by the filter must be removed regularly with routine maintenance.
Features
In an extremely compact solution, the AR model electrostatic filter can be equipped with a fan, simply by adding a rear module to the relative electrostatic unit. There are two types of AR electrostatic filters in production, for each configuration; the first is for dry fumes, the second is for oily mists. In the second version there is a condensation drainage system for the mist retained by the electrostatic cells and a filtered oil collection tank. AR filters can be equipped with an AR CA activated carbon module, or with an AR M fan module, or both “AR CA M”. Electrostatic filters ensure the purification of the air from polluting elements such as fumes, dust, produced by welding operations, oily mists generated by industrial processes. These pollutants can have sizes with values ranging from 10 to 0,01 microns. The pressure drop of the electrostatic filter can vary from 40 Pascals (clean filter) to 80 Pascals (dirty filter). The concentration of contaminants at the inlet can reach up to 50 mg/m3. The temperature of the fluid must not exceed 60 ° C and the relative humidity can vary from 20% to 99%.
Automatic Monitoring System
Automatic Monitoring System (AMS) is an electronic device for monitoring the filter unit with the possibility of a wireless interface for remote management. Available in two different solutions for AR models:
AMS Local: each machine has its own alphanumeric monitoring system;
Centralized AMS: There is a centralized touch screen for graphical control of the functions of multiple machines.
