The new JACOB DETECTABLE DESIGN series provides increased safety, for example in food production. All products in the DETECTABLE DESIGN series can be detected with standard metal detectors and comply with EC 1935/2004 as well as FDA regulations. If these products or even just parts of them are accidentally introduced into your production process, for example during assembly, they can be immediately located by a metal detector and removed. Tiny metal particles make non-metallic elements such as gaskets, rubber covers and expansion joints detectable. Look for the DETECTABLE DESIGN symbol.
