The shaftless auger compactor is a device designed to remove the largest amount of liquid mixed with some type of product. This separation is not 100%, but with this system the conditions of the materials are improved for their subsequent handling or storage.
As a general rule of design, this equipment has a first drainage section, located near the product inlet, and a second pressure filtering section at the end. This can be made from various shapes and types of filter mesh, the most common being mesh with triangular profiles or perforated sheets.
