The J-Tec Material Handling CIP (Cleaning in Place) system is an automated process for cleaning the interior surfaces of pipes, vessels, process equipment, filters, and accessories without disassembly. Wash water and detergent solution are circulated throughout the system, including tanks, fillers, and piping, ensuring consistency and sustainability, and guaranteeing maximum cleanliness and hygiene while minimizing the risk of contamination.
A typical CIP cleaning system consists of the following elements: – Base – Water and solution preparation tanks with heating – Drive and return pumps controlled by a variable frequency drive – Drive and return lines – Tubular heat exchangers – Chemical dosing – Valves (butterfly, angle seat, single-seat multi-way valves…) – Vent filters in the tanks – CIP return filters – Instrumentation (level gauges, flow meters, flow detectors, temperature, pressure, and conductivity probes…) – Pressure gauges
