CX TROUGH AUGERS

The CX stainless steel trough auger offers a variety of solutions for the conveying or dosing of powdered or granular materials. Designed for applications in the chemical-food industry and in environmental technology, they are suitable for applications where any contamination of the handled material must be strictly avoided and where absolute cleanliness and perfect corrosion resistance are required. CX stainless steel trough augers are also used in the milling, feed, plastics and chemical industries, as well as in the pharmaceutical industry. CX conveyors are made up of sections in U or V section equipped with at least one outlet, a support plate fixed at each end of the section, a helical spiral welded to the centre of the tube with flanged bushings at each end, 2 complete end supports and intermediate supports depending on the length of the auger and bolted covers. In addition, CX screw conveyors have a gear motor adapted to the application as well as external and internal packing gland systems that provide a tight seal during operation. They are available in both INOX304L-316L and ATEX22/ATEX21 classified areas.
