Aero-mechanical conveyors/elevators are designed to handle powdered or granulated products. The system consists of a cable with inserted discs running inside a tube between two or three special wheels equipped with toothed crowns.
Plastic discs attached to the cable at regular intervals create discrete air pockets as they move through the tube. Transport is carried with minimal degradation and separation.
The high linear speed imparted to the discs promotes the displacement of air and the subsequent fluidization of the material, achieving lower energy consumption and considerable performance.
Product discharge is achieved by centrifugal action: the product exits through a discharge end, while the air is recirculated through the return pipe.
Aero-mechanical conveyors/elevators are economical, efficient and versatile.
