That's why in Bay Plastics Machinery We designed and patented the The world's first and only micro-strand pelletizerThe result of this effort is the X-Class Micro pellet mill, capable of cutting strands into pellets of up to 0.015 ″ (0,4 mm) of length.

The key component behind the micropelleting process lies in the equipment-specific designSimply reducing the size of a conventional pellet mill is not feasible, as the turbulence generated by the rotating rotor would displace the micropellets into uncontrollable areas of the system. Our engineering reduces this turbulence and minimizes uncontained areas, maximizing process efficiency and precision.

Thanks to its system upper traction interior –without the need for an external gearbox– this pellet mill is compatible with a wide range of thermoplastics, from masterbatch to fiberglass-filled materials.

Designed and built for a long lifespan, the X-Class Micro It is manufactured in heavy gauge stainless steel, resistant to the most demanding industrial environments.
