The ILP3 pendulum level sensor detects the presence of material without requiring a power supply. It works by means of a pendulum that is moved by the material from its vertical resting position, thereby activating a microswitch.
It is especially suitable for measuring levels in silos or load cells where materials (such as gravel, lime, flour or cereals) tend to form a deposit cone.
