Vibrating feeders with electromechanical drive are mainly used to extract or dose the product to be handled stored in hoppers at a fixed flow rate. The drive can be carried out by using two motor-driven vibrators or by means of a gearbox with direct connection by means of a cardan shaft to a motor. In some cases, by using a frequency converter within certain ranges, a flow rate control can be carried out.
